OUR HISTORY
Starting as a small village butchers shop in Blackwell (Derbyshire) just 30 years ago, Price and Fretwell are a family owned Catering Butchers with Darren, Lisa and Nathan Price involved day to day. Throughout the years several family members have also worked within the business either delivering our products or making pigs in blankets at Christmas!
We now operate from a purpose built factory which enables us to dry age our locally sourced beef on the bone for 30 days by utilising a state of the art ageing fridge. We are a fully EC Licenced Cutting Plant and are licenced for the production of cooked meat products.
Using our fleet of 8 refrigerated vans, we deliver our products to food establishments, food processors and directly to the public across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire! We also use accredited courier services to deliver our products to customers beyond the East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
